The Kani mark
One symbol, three ideas: Africa, connection, intelligence. A closed ring crossed by a node-linked signal path — monoline, single-color, and legible from a favicon to broadcast equipment. Use it as supplied: no recoloring, stretching, or added effects, with clear space of at least half the mark's height on all sides.
Mark — indigo on dark

Mark — reversed, single color

Alternate concepts
Three directions were developed for the company mark. Each communicates only Africa, connection and intelligence — never a single product category.
A — Meridian
Selected. A ring crossed by a node-linked path; a stylized K formed from signal routes converging on one intelligence node.
B — Lattice
The continent implied by a triangulated network of nodes, each edge a link between places.
C — Signal
One source, three expanding arcs — information radiating outward from a single trusted origin.

Eric Mithamo
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Eric has spent more than twenty years working in the broadcast television industry, building and supporting the mission-critical systems that keep television on the air. Over the course of his career—from broadcast engineering to media systems architecture—he has designed, integrated, commissioned, and modernized the infrastructure that carries video, audio, data and communications across complex broadcast facilities. Born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya, and now based in California, he founded Kani Media Company to apply that discipline to a much larger problem: the information Africa needs to make decisions.
Broadcast engineering is the practice of building systems that cannot go dark. Signal chains, routing, transport, redundancy, monitoring, timing — infrastructure judged by what happens on its worst day, not its best. That work is the foundation of everything Kani builds: real-time systems engineered for uptime, verification and trust rather than demos.
